The Torre Pisana renovation project aims at restoring and reinforcing a 400 years old wind-beaten stone monument, an ancient mill visited by peasants, wayfarers and pilgrims on the steep slopes facing the sea, to achieve the complete conservation of the dry stone structure.

By securing the unstable walls and the structural failures, the building regains its original appearance: a basic operation in a contemporary fashion, albeit using the original materials. A renovation project in the principles of compatibility and reversibility. A new story of local heritage, narrated through architecture.
