Madonna della neve
editAn ancient high-altitude chapel. A precious landmark for excursionists and the local community. The awe-inspiring crest of Monte Lera. A story of renovation and enhancement in the silence of the Piedmont Alps.

A tiny building with a huge relevance. The aim is to restore its identity and to make it more accessible to the worshippers and the excursionists of Anello Ceronda, a scenic trail connecting the villages of Givoletto and Val della Torre. A stopover featuring a rest area for hikers and pilgrims. The area’s enhancement is completed by the chapel’s restoration, carried out by respecting the existent assets, using traditional building technologies.

A restoration project protecting the architectural heritage and the surrounding landscape, while restoring the chapel’s identity as a local landmark.
