An ancient country mansion for leisure away from the city. An immense park. A conservative restoration project matched with contemporary needs.

The goal is renovating a historical building, included in Piedmont’s Cultural and Architectural Heritage, and turning it into a modern and innovative house. Besides reorganizing its layout and its systems, the main issue was to create smart spaces while respecting the existing asset.

The main building’s interiors have been vamped up to achieve the highest comfort and the widest range of purposes, in the most elegant fashion. A complex energetic renovation was carried out by means of a geothermal system for water and heating. All the hardwood floors from the XVIII century, the main hall’s wainscoting and the original frescos where restored by removing the more recent layers.

The result is outstanding: a historical mansion surrounded by an immense park, energetically smart, to enjoy the leisure of country life.
